When you are recovering from surgery

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Your body belongs to God and is worth stewarding.

When you are recovering from surgery. Nobody puts that on a vision board, but people live it every day. Before you react, ask what this moment is trying to make you believe. Old patterns survive because they move quickly, before truth gets a chance to speak. Your body is not your god and it is not your enemy. It is temporary, valuable, and worth stewarding under the lordship of Jesus Christ. You do not need a dramatic feeling today. You need enough truth to refuse the old script one more time.

Are you seeking wisdom, or are you seeking permission to repeat what is familiar?

Jesus Christ, show me what is true in this situation and expose the story I have added to it. Give me wisdom for my part, courage to obey You, and enough trust to leave the outcome in Your hands. Amen.
